Getting Hooked
Don’t hook up until you look up. The list of relationship questions asked by some of you is both deep and wide. They range from: Will I go to heaven if I am gay? To… Is there a solution to remain married?
Whether you are single, married, or single again, you were created to give and receive love. The way we seek and give love impacts both our earthly relationships and our most important one – the one with God.

What About Fun? Is it OK to be a Christian and have fun? We all have things we like to do that we consider fun – things like:
How does God feel about these types of activities? Is God a cosmic party pooper or did He create us with fun in mind? Is having fun or how we have fun even important to God? This Sunday I will open up the Bible and attempt to answer these questions. Just remember – You Asked For It! Facebook was filled with a story about one of our KidsRock kids and how God used him to show up in his parent’s life. Way to go KidsRock Team! This month our teens will be going to Ignite – a beach retreat to grow closer to God and become bold in faith. The child I spoke of will one day become one of our teens and is already being prepared to be a bold part of our youth. Lets support the Ignite trip, lets help them grow into rock solid young adults for Christ. Stand with me and pray for the person of God to be at this retreat, for their safety, and opportunities to share and experience God. Lets step up as a church and cover any remaining financial need – you can give online at www.rockspring.net. Lets be prepared to celebrate as they return and share what God did by listening, encouraging, and sharing in their stories. On July 5th, two more people gained their independence by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I’ll never grow tired of celebrating souls for Jesus! Pastor Mike |

Celebrate!
Things I am celebrating this week:
1. JESUS: I never get tired of celebrating my relationship with my Savior!
2. YOU: I feel the same way about you!
3. BEN WILLIAMS: Our Unplugged Leader Ben will be delivering another awesome message this Sunday. Please don’t miss it.
4. BAPTISM: We already have four people (all adults) ready to celebrate baptism at the river on July 19. If you want to join them, click HERE.
5. UNIQUELY YOU: This Sunday I get to host a group of you who want to discover more about how God has gifted and wired you. Do you want to attend? Send me an email at mike.lowrey@rockspring.net and show up after the 2nd service. Food and material provided.
6. CAMP WANNASTAY: 90 kids attended Camp Wannastay this week and when I asked them if they wanted to do it again they overwhelmingly said YES (more like screamed)!
7. VOLUNTEERS: We can’t do it without you and I love and celebrate with you all that you accomplish. Join us this Saturday, June 27 for The Rally at 10:00 AM.
