Shout It Out

SHOUT IT OUT!

You have been made right with God simply by living in faith.  You, like Jesus are one of His kids.  Like any child, we must learn to listen and do what our Father asks and our Heavenly Father only asks for one thing from you and I – share the good news (Gospel) with everyone we can so that they can be His kids too.

Step out and live in faith and invite someone to church this Sunday.  It’s too good to keep to ourselves!

Go Bold!

You can be secure and confident in any area of life or in anything you do. It only takes one thing in order to live with the assurance that no matter what life throws at you, no matter what you try to do; it will work out for your best. Its one thing to read Romans 8:28 and hear that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purpose – it’s quite another to really believe it!

That’s it: that’s the step: Believe! Not that God exists, but that He’s working everything out for you.

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “God did not give us a spirit of fear but boldness.” You can be sure that no matter what your situation is or what your ability is, you can walk in boldness that God will work it out if you just believe and move forward.

This Sunday we will hear a story of how Tammy Pierson is living more and more in boldness and dealing less with a spirit of fear and that through Christ, you and I can too!

Angry Bird?

I admit it.  I was as hooked on Angry Bird as some of you are on Candy Crush!  While games are loads of fun, being hooked on anger will affect, and even be devastating to your life.

Have you ever had your anger cause you to say or do things you wish you hadn’t said or done?  Me too!

I was confused about anger and how to deal with my anger, when and how to use it, and even clueless of how it affected my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

This Sunday I will answer questions from the Bible about anger – questions like, “Is it a sin to be angry?”; “How do I control my anger?” ; “Should I ever express anger?”; and “Does Jesus and God get angry?”

Knowing how and when to be angry is life changing.

See You Sunday – Pastor Mike
