About Us

What if there was a place where you could be completely accepted and cared for, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you look like?

What if there was a place that dealt with the issues we all deal with every day--jobs, finances, relationships, parenting, and more--from the perspective of people who are still learning and aren’t perfect?

What if there was a place where people could explore a relationship with God, even before they are sure if they believe in him or not?

We’re striving to be all of these things. At Rock Spring Church it’s not about the energetic, soul-stirring music. It’s not about the messages that are sometimes humorous and always engaging. Everything we do here is about one simple thing...helping people to come closer to God.  Click here to view our Mission Statement.

Does God want to be known? Absolutely! Rock Spring began as a church plant in Oct. 2004 with the mission of creating environments where anyone could experience God no matter where they are in their spiritual life.

Our place is friendly, casual, and upbeat. We share the Bible in a way that is relevant for today using both past and present music as well as through other forms of technology and media.

We know that Jesus came to restore us to friendship with God and that through faith in him we all can seek, serve, share and experience God in a very real way.

Rock Spring meets at the Jefferson County 9th Grade Complex located at 1209 Shenandoah Junction Road, in Shenandoah Junction, WV.  For more information visit our contact us page.

Near future plans include a community center for kids, students, and adults to worship highlighting our Kidstuf service where kids and parents get to worship together. We plan to have the facility open everyday for activities such as sports & rec., a cafe', small group Bible discussions, and much more. We also are planning a community pre-school.

Rock Spring desires to be a place where all are invited to share in exciting worship, relevant teaching and supporting one another in overcoming life's challenges.  We strive daily to strengthen our relationships with one another and with Jesus Christ  and to be a home and refuge where we can celebrate how far we've come without forgetting how far we have yet to go.
